The Enchantress Tales: Walking the path of the Ancestors

In order for the whole picture to come together I have to give you some of the back story. My maternal grandmother, Nanny, played an integral role my entire life. She was our main care provider when my single mother was working. In 2008, Nanny passed away less than a week before her 90th birthday. I wanted to go see her for years at her cemetery but life circumstances prevented in. So 10 years after her passing, I finally went to see her at her gravesite which happens to be on our family church's land. I was surprised to see that the cemetery was filled with ancestors from my lineage there. The experience revealed that I walk with more ancestors than I could imagine. The interesting thing about the cemetery is my grandfather purchased the plot of land and the tombstone for them both before he died which was 20+ years before I was born. My grandmother passed away 60 years after my grandfather. Because I didn't know my grandfather, Nanny being there is what pulled me to the land of my ancestors.

Fast Forward.

April 2021- Both Conjure and I had a dream the same night about the same place. The dream was directing us to go to South Carolina. Interestingly, it didn't really occur to us the coincidence (there is no such thing) that we both had dreamed of this place on the same night. It was an insight we initially followed to Myrtle Beach. On the way home, we both realized the trip was not fulfilling the dream. Within a matter of a couple hours, I saw a sign that instantly reminded me of where Nanny was laid to rest and knew we had to go. We planned to go two weeks later which leads up to this weekend.

Hindsight being 20/20, I see this was a trip of patience as we drove slowly in the rain, up and down steep hills to get there. As we pulled into the town, we saw a house that I knew I would stop by on the way back.

Ninety-Six Historic Site: Star Fort

We arrived at the cemetery and begin to walk the land. There were tombstones dated as far back as the 1800's. Some were hand carved while others were so old moss had grown on them making it impossible to read clearly.

We gave them our offerings, and spent time in praise and worship of them, of their existence, of the challenges they faced and overcame because I am here. We honored and revered them. It was beautiful. We walked the entire cemetery together, figuring out how the other names were connected with my family.

Once we were done, we left my family's cemetery, we travel back towards the house we saw. We realized it is approximately 2 miles away. We now feel we have to know the significance of the house especially with it being within walking distance to the cemetery. We had a feeling it was all connected.

A device used to imprison people for public abuse and torture,
Pillory

As we walked to the house, the first thing we saw was this pillory. I was shocked and appalled of it's existence still being resurrected here. It felt like the spirits on the land was still imprisoned here. We instantly began letting the benevolent spirits know we were there to release them from this purgatory they were trapped in. As we continued to walk the land we found the Star Fort was constructed during the revolutionary war and the structures on the land were the monuments.

This little house was to interrogate enemies in the midst of the fort wall enclosures
Interrogation room

At the back of this tiny house is small slits that hardly let any light in. As you peek through them, inside was eerie and dark. We began to release the souls who were interrogated and tortured in there as we walk around the enclosure. It was intense to say the least.

From the enclosure was a path that was 1.5 miles long. Since we had begun the journey we had to continue to see where this was leading us. We walked to land and saw the artillery stations, the star fort barricade, the infantry towers. It was a bit emotional to say the least.

As we continued to travel the historic site, we learned was this place, originally known as Keowee, the place of the mulberry, was a tremendous marketplace for trade for the Cherokee Indians. We were actually walking the marketplace of our ancestors. The roads for trading were still able to be seen. The indigenous people traveled this road way before colonization. They had walked this land since 9000 BC. It is sometimes hard to imagine our ancestors prior to the transatlantic slave trade. With this land having such a rich history prior to colonization, the focus so far was on the war which dated back to the 1700's. It was minute in the scheme of things, but I digress.

The land led to a forest area. It was beautiful and serene. The trees stood tall. Some of them had a red tint to them, while others seem to have keloids on them. We ask the trees to share the wisdom they have seen over the centuries.

By the time we reached the end, the last thing we saw was an image of a Cherokee Indian. As we made our way back to the car, we realized we had walked the entire historic site backwards. Most people who take the tour see the Cherokee Indian first and end with the house and the pillory. We reversed the energy of the land unbeknownst to us.

If you have stuck with me as I attempted to put this amazing story together, I want to offer you some words of wisdom I have had affirmed from this experience. Often times, we work with our ancestors hoping to gain from them. We are hardly aware of what it is they gain from us. They need us as much as we need them. If we expect anything to change or shift, it must be from the work we put towards honoring of them. Every time you say their names, every time you bring them offerings, every time you pray, every time you speak to and of them, you empower them to heal themselves, the lineage, and you. It is an interdependent relationship that can no longer be denied, avoided, or to be made to fear. Our ancestors need us. They need you. If it was not for them, you would not exist. And they are waiting to share a rich history with you that will empower you to walk with confidence in your purpose. The ancestors are calling to you. Heed the call!!!

The Etheric Touch Healing System was a gift from my ancestors to me to share for with those who are ready to heed the call. Your ancestors and mine conjugate with each other to lead you to them. The majority of us were not raised to understand how. They have been demonized and were made to feared. However, there is no need to fear those in death that you didn't fear in life. It is time to learn the ways of the ancient ones. It is time to know them and share their stories of victory. So the question is...ARE YOU READY?

If you are, you must take the initiative. You are not alone. They will walk with you every step of the way, and so will we. The time is now!
